Join Our Customer Success Team as an Application Specialist / Customer Success Manager (Remote or On-Site – U.S.)
NordicNeuroLab (NNL) is a leading supplier of hardware and software for functional MRI (fMRI) used by hospitals and research centers worldwide to diagnose neurological disorders and brain injuries. We have regional teams across the globe, with our headquarters in Bergen, Norway, and a strong presence in the U.S. with our US headquarters in Milwaukee, WI. We’re now looking for an ambitious, self-driven Application Specialist to join our Customer Success team and help us provide world-leading services to some of the most respected medical institutions in the US.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of the full lifecycle of the customer experience for individual clients, from initial contact to the ongoing maintenance of the customer relationship. You’ll also contribute to business development through tracking of end-user satisfaction and success in using our products. You’ll be working alongside a highly skilled distributed team across the U.S. and Europe and enjoy the flexibility of a mostly remote setup combined with the momentum of a globally connected organization.
About the role
As our Customer Success Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our customer, guiding them to get the most out of our new advanced system for MRI post-processing, as well as other products in our product portfolio. The role is all about building strong, long-term relationships, understanding customer goals, and ensuring they achieve success with our products. You’ll play an important role in onboarding new customers, as well as providing proactive support, and act as their advocate within our company, collaborating closely with product, support and sales teams across the U.S. and Europe.
We are looking for someone who combines a service-minded attitude with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable items.
In this role, you are expected to travel to visit customers on site, and will have the chance to collaborate with leading healthcare providers across the U.S.
Your responsibilities
Plan and execute detailed onboarding plans with new hospitals
Proactively maintain customer relationships
Help develop quantitative measures for tracking customer success and health
Actively engage in the customer journey from first contact to a prolonged partnership
Bridge the gap between customer needs, product development, sales, and support
Ensuring continued and increased use of our products within the healthcare institutions where our products are being used
Contribute to internal knowledge bases and external outreach through activities aimed at increasing customer engagement and confidence in our products
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, or 2-3 years relevant experience, in Radiologic Technology, MR technology, medical physics, medical technology, biomedical engineering, or related field
2-5 years of hands-on experience within the field of functional MRI
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
A self-starting, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently across time zones.
Strong organizational and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical users.
English fluency, both written and verbal. Other language proficiency is an advantage but not a requirement.
Willingness to travel within the U.S. Must provide a valid driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursement will be provided.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Total compensation $65,000-$100,000, including:
Base salary: $60,000-$80,000
Quarterly bonus: $5,000-$20,000 tied to company objectives such as onboarding speed, cost optimization, and account growth
